Morning worship
As we meet together on a Sunday morning, we seek to worship God with songs old and new, and Bible centred preaching.
On the last Sunday of the month we celebrate the Lord’s Supper.
Discussion
After the main part of our morning worship, we have some light refreshments. Then we all gather together for a time of discussion for half an hour. This gives the congregation an opportunity to ask the preacher questions, as well as the preacher to ask the congregation some questions. The aim of this time is to explore and apply the subject matter of the sermon more deeply.
Sunday School
Our Sunday school runs from approximately 10.50am. The children usually follow the same subject matter that will be dealt with in the sermon, but at a level that they can more easily understand. The children begin in the same meeting as the adults, but leave at an appropriate time.
Fellowship meeting
On the 2nd Sunday of the month the fellowship meeting consists of a prepared discussion of a particular subject. The congregation are asked to bring material relevant to the subject including Bible verses, books, an experience, a song, etc.
On the last Sunday of the month, the meeting takes the form of an extended discussion of the morning sermon.
Men’s fitness fellowship
This is an informal time of sport and fellowship. Activities include walking, table tennis, swimming and badminton. We recently had an introduction to healthy cooking from one of the church members and his colleague who both work in the catering industry!!! - you can view some of the pictures here.
Ladies evening meeting
This is an informal meeting with a varied program of crafts, topical subjects, and other activities with a Christian message.
